Flavio Lombardi

Painter, Caserta, 1984

The painter Flavio Lombardi, born in the october 11th1984 in Caserta, at the age of ten, began to show his pictorial production with mixed media on continuous form printouts. The first works are characterized by images printed on the computer on chemical paper and revisited with enamel paint. Fascinated by technology and color, the artist explores the infinite possibilities of combining electronic and material painting.

2000

Attracted by Hip Hop music and American culture, again through the use of the computer, the artist tries his hand at creating playbills and posters of imaginary events to take place in the neighborhoods of New York.

2005

The artist is passionate about newage music. The music by Jon & Vangelis is the soundtrack of numerous films made with transitions of sacred images remodeled in a pop art key.

2015

Flavio Lombardi participates in his first exhibition and exhibits at the International Contemporary Art Competition “Maleventum contest” at the ARCOS Museum of Contemporary Art in Benevento.

2021

As part of the celebrations dedicated to the intellectual legacy of Gian Carlo Menotti, the painter Flavio Lombardi is invited to exhibit at the international painting exhibition "Menotti Art Festival" in Spoleto (PG).

2022

At the Art Gallery Saccone in Caserta, Flavio Lombardi join his first solo exhibition.
The painter retraces, through his computerized canvases, the main artistic stages from the Modern Age to Pop art mixed with the skyline of the Royal Palace of Caserta.

2022

The artist shows an exclusive collection of phygital works at the UNESCO Site of Belvedere di San Leucio (CE): six phygital works, also created in NFT technology, which represent the great architect Luigi Vanvitelli in a Pop Art key.

2023

At the Art Gallery Saccone, the artist Flavio Lombardi creates his second solo exhibition entitled "ANTHOLOGY" with over 30 works that trace the evolution from his first Digital Collages to the Phygital NFT works.

2024

«Casa hirta» international poetry and literature prize: Flavio Lombardi pays homage to the writer Dacia Maraini with one of his digital collages printed on canvas dedicated to Pier Paolo Pasolini and Caserta. The meeting takes place as part of the events promoted "Un Borgo di Libri extra".

With the third solo exhibition entitled "FROM POP ART TO ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE", the artist focuses attention on AI applied to art. Over 60 works are displayed in the historic location of the Saccone Gallery in Santa Maria Capua Vetere.

2025

On the 20th march, at Royal Palace of Caserta, Flavio Lombardi joins at "CRASH" exhibition, the collective installation of contemporary art, by Iconic Art System and Loffredo Foundation. The work The Architect of Life is a reference and knowledge and skills of the Master Architect Luigi Vanvitelli, visionary artist, designer and creator of the Royal Palace of Caserta.

The work "The Architect of Life", showed for the first time in the private event "CRASH" at Sala Romanelli of Reggia di Caserta, stands as a connection between the tangible and the intangible.
The painting, a tangible sign, is at the same time an intangible work of art as it is digitized and protected via an NFC code which guarantees its authenticity and preservation over time.
