Flavio Lombardi uses technology to bridge the digital world with the physical world with the purpose of providing a unique interactive experiences for the user. The artist applies a microchip on the back of the physical paintings,  made on adhesive films superimposed on forex backgrounds.  The chip is capable of linking, via NFC technology, to the relevant digital twin of the work.

Once scanned with the smartphone, thanks to a functionality already inherent in the device, the microchip acts as a certificate of authenticity as it is connected to a unique and non-replicable code.
